humans just love to act.
taking fragments of who they are/who they want to be to construct a persona that is attractive to everyone they meet…
my theater and cinephilic friends have their acts perfected so well, that it’s somewhat hard to tell when they’re being sincere/not filtering what they truly think.
i suppose a little part of me wishes that i could be like that. but, honestly, i very rarely feel the need to impress others with a projection of who they want me to be.
i’m just me; a seemingly transparent young adult that wishes others would just be who they are and say fuck you to anyone that tries to make them feel guilty for who they want to be.
Oh yes. Words of wisdom here.
